3.3 Service Providers and Tools
Depending on how you use the website, we may use the following categories of providers (processors or independent controllers of their own tools):
- Payments: Mollie (and related payment methods such as iDEAL, card, Bancontact, Apple Pay).
- Shipping / logistics: SendCloud and carriers such as PostNL (and other carriers used for your order).
- Hosting / media CDN: Cloudflare R2 for product and media images.
- Transactional email: email delivery via our mail provider (one.com SMTP) for order and account messages.
- Consent management: CookieYes, to record and manage cookie/consent preferences.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4; PostHog (EU) for product analytics, including heatmaps and session replay. When you are logged in, analytics tools may associate usage with your customer account identifiers (such as customer ID, name, or email).
- Marketing automation / email: Klaviyo and Omnisend (with consent where required).
- Live chat: Tidio (chat messages, IP address, and any contact details you provide in chat).
- Security / spam protection: Google reCAPTCHA on certain forms.
- Business systems: Odoo and SplashSync for order/customer/stock synchronization with our internal systems.
- Advertising tools: We may use Meta (Facebook) advertising or measurement tools when enabled on the website.
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and our agreements with them. Some are located outside the Netherlands; where required, appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are used.
3.4 3D Visualization and Augmented Reality (AR)
On selected product pages and on the homepage, we may offer 3D product models and an optional Augmented Reality (AR) experience so you can visualize products.
- 3D models are provided to support product visualization and may not represent every detail of the physical product.
- AR is optional. Your device camera and motion sensors are used only after you choose to start AR (for example by tapping an AR button or scanning a QR code on your phone).
- AR runs through your device’s AR features (such as WebXR, Google Scene Viewer on Android, or Apple AR Quick Look on iOS). GatoSports does not record or store your camera footage.
- To display 3D models in the browser, we load the Google model-viewer library from a third-party CDN (unpkg.com). Your browser may share technical data such as IP address with that CDN when the script is loaded.
- On desktop/laptop, an AR button may show a QR code so you can open the AR page on your phone. The QR image is generated via a third-party service (api.qrserver.com). Only the AR page link is sent to that service to create the code—not your account password or payment details.
3.7 Virtual Try-On Studio (camera)
Our optional 3D Studio lets you preview selected products using your device camera. Body landmarks are detected in your browser to place a 3D product overlay.
- Camera frames are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to our servers.
- The studio may load MediaPipe pose models and Three.js assets from our servers and/or CDNs (jsDelivr / Google model storage).
- Previews are illustrative and may not match exact size, fabric drape, or colour.
- You can stop the camera at any time. Without camera permission the studio cannot run.
3.5 Data Security
We implement security measures, including SSL encryption, secure databases, and access controls, to protect your personal data.
3.6 Your Rights (GDPR Compliance)
As a user, you have the following rights regarding your data:
- Right to Access – Request a copy of your stored data.
- Right to Rectification – Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure – Request deletion of your personal data.
